Bike Week 2023 Details (Updated)
It’s that time of the year again and bike week ‘23 is upon us. Bike week will be running from Saturday 13th May to Sunday 21st May. TFI Bikes are participating in activities in Cork, Limerick, Galway and Dublin.
We are delighted to partner once again with the local councils to offer our TFI Bikes for use during certain Bike Week 2023 events. So there has never been a better time to get out, give it a try and test drive the TFI Bikes.
Here is a list of events where you can test out TFI Bikes free of charge, and have fun while doing it! Please note that for all these events we will be supplying bikes only, and you are welcome to bring your own bike should you prefer.

Cork
Women’s Cycle from Grand Parade to Tramore Valley Park for a zumba event Sun 14th May
This event kicks off at 12pm at the Grand Parade outside the city library. TFI Bikes will be available and you are welcome to cycle over to Tramore Valley Park for a zumba event, and cycle back to Grand Parade where we will collect your TFI Bike.
Lunch in the Park Weds 17th May
This event kicks off at Penrose Dock office block at 12pm. TFI Bikes will be on hand and you are welcome to come take a bike and cycle to Fitzgerald’s Park free of charge. At Fitzgerald’s Park we will have competitions with two spinning bikes, prizes, on-the-spot giveaways, DJs, and a free ice cream van!
Women’s Cycle from Grand Parade to the Marina Market for a yoga event Sun 21st May
Get set as we cycle from the Grand Parade outside city library to the Marina Market for a yoga event! TFI Bikes will be available and you can cycle from the library to the Marina Market, then back again where we will collect your TFI Bike.
Limerick
City Family Fun Day Cycle Sun 14th May
We’re kicking off at Arthur’s Quay Park at 2pm and we will take a leisurely cycle through the city. TFI Bikes will be available or you’re welcome to bring your own as we loop our way back to Arthur’s Quay Park where we will collect your TFI Bike.
Waterford
Lunchtime Cycle Weds 17th May
Join us for a lunchtime cycle around Waterford! We kick off at 12.45pm at Waterford Crystal on The Mall. Just pick up a bike, or bring your own, as we travel around the streets of the Deise city! All you have to do is bring your TFI Bike back to the pickup point and we’ll handle the rest.
Waterford Walls Sat 20th May
We’re meeting at 10am at the SETU car park (Cork Road entrance by the TFI Bikes station) for a unique guided cycling tour of the magnificent Waterford Walls Street Art Murals to find out the meaning behind some of the murals. TFI Bikes will be available on the day or you can bring your own.
